Morning: 2 easy shakeout on grass, 8:08 avg. A little fatigued

Afternoon: workout wednesday. warmup drills and strides, then 80% and hills (15, 20, 25sec). Had my best tempo yet, 15:57 on that 300ft gain 3mile course. then made sure to push the hills. cooled down back to the track. got a bit of a chafing problem, not sure how to fix it, everything i've tried has failed. it's quite debilitating.

Prep H will fix it. Works great for many things it was not intended for. Works wonders on healing blisters up super fast too. Learned about it while my daughter was doing gymnastics, the uneven bars would cause huge rips on their hands (skin tearing off because of friction blisters). It drys the skin but leaves an oil to help protect and heal without cracking. Try it. Their are cheap generics at and grocery or drug store. Some even use it on lures and bait while fishing. The whale oil in it attacks fish;) Good luck with your training you have been improving quickly and your toughness will pay off.
